Terms of service

Last updated October 20, 2026

Who we are

LarkLocal is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. These terms apply to this website and to the services we provide to clients. Questions can go to [email protected].

Our services

Our plan includes a website, local SEO and Google Business Profile updates, missed-call text back, review requests, a texting quote form, two-way texting, a customer management tool, website edits and support. The exact setup for your business is confirmed with you before work starts.

Price and billing

The plan is $297 CAD a month plus applicable taxes, billed monthly in advance to the payment method you provide. There is no setup fee. Paid advertising spend and domain registration are not included.

Cancelling

The plan is month-to-month. You can cancel anytime by emailing us. Your service continues until the end of the month you have paid for, and we do not refund partial months. If a payment fails and is not resolved within 14 days, we may pause your services.

Your domain and content

Your domain stays registered in your name. You keep ownership of the content you give us, such as photos, logos and text, and you confirm you have the right to use it. We keep ownership of our website templates, code and systems, which you may use while you are a client. When you leave, we export your lead and customer history for you.

Texting and messaging rules

Our tools send text messages on your behalf to people who contact your business. You agree to use them only with people who have contacted you or agreed to hear from you, and to follow Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) and any other rules that apply. We may suspend messaging that breaks these rules.

Third-party services

Our services rely on providers such as website hosting, messaging and phone carriers, payment processors and Google. We are not responsible for their outages or policy changes, but we will work with you to keep things running.

Results

We work to improve how your business shows up online and how quickly you respond to customers. Search rankings, review counts and lead volume depend on many things outside our control, so we cannot guarantee specific results.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change affects active clients, we will let you know by email before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
